Class Descriptions

All regularly scheduled classes may be started at any time.

Beginning Yoga

For students new to yoga or those wanting to strengthen their foundation. Learn the basic asanas with an emphasis on alignment, stability, and understanding how to work with your individual body. Props are introduced to make poses accessible and help develop awareness. Repetition gives you time to learn, build confidence, and establish a strong foundation for your practice.

Intermediate Yoga

For students with a working knowledge of the basic asanas who are ready to deepen their practice. Classes include more detailed instructions, longer holds, and a broader range of asanas. Inversions are introduced at this level, with preparation and instruction to develop the strength, stability, and confidence necessary for a safe inversion practice.

Advanced Yoga

For experienced students with a consistent practice and a solid understanding of the foundational asanas, including inversions. Classes explore more challenging asanas, refined alignment, sequencing, and longer holds. Students should be comfortable working independently, using props appropriately, and adapting their practice when necessary.

Experienced Practice

For longtime practitioners with an established and consistent yoga practice. This class offers an opportunity to explore asanas in greater depth, work with more complex actions and sequences, and develop greater independence and sensitivity in personal practice. Students are expected to have a strong understanding of alignment, props, and their own capabilities.

Action is movement with intelligence. The world is filled with movement. What the world needs is more conscious movement, more action.
